Position: Partner/ Managing Director

Location:Warsaw, Poland or Budapest, Hungary based

Job Description:

• Based in Warsaw or Budapest.
• Lead private equity investment initiatives in CEE region.
• Strong deal sourcing and origination capabilities: independently identify perspective investment ideas, source deals, and develop a tangible and actionable deal pipeline. 
• Forming partnerships: identify strategic and financial partners within CEE region, and effectively collaborate to source deal flow and provide angles on deals.
• Maintain and develop a comprehensive network (such as PE sponsors, M&A advisors, accountants, lawyers and consultants) within CEE region.
• Clear rationale and logic on acquisition targets, constant communication/discussion with colleagues based in other regions .
• Lead the team in the due diligence and other transaction execution work streams.
• Lead the negotiation of transaction documentations.
• Lead in the preparation of materials for Investment Committee.
• Lead in the post-transaction portfolio management, participate in the board of target companies.
• Lead to build up investment team in CEE region. Lead, manage, develop and mentor junior team members.

Skills/Requirements:

• At least 3 years’.experience as a Partner/Managing Director with a top-tier CEE focused private equity firm.
• Strong track record in private equity investments, post-deal portfolio management and exit experience.
• Strong deal sourcing and origination capability, with comprehensive local network in CEE region.
• Clear rationale and logic on acquisition targets in various industries.
• In-depth knowledge on CEE macro economies and capital markets. 
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and excellent cross-cultural awareness.
• English is the working language.
