SINOCEEF Capital and the Central and Eastern Europe Fund (hereinafter referred to as the “Fund”), for which it serves as investment manager, have consistently focused on project investments in ESG-related areas. Starting from the Fund’s second phase, its investment scope has been further expanded to include renewable energy infrastructure projects and ESG-related industries.
Since its inception, the Fund has achieved the following ESG-related investments:

(Equivalent to the annual carbon emissions of 50,000 passenger vehicles, or the total carbon emissions of all passenger vehicles in Luxembourg over one and a half months)
Total electricity generated by completed new energy projects: 286 GWh
(Sufficient to meet the annual electricity consumption of 124,000 local households)
Total local jobs created by completed new energy projects: 350
* Including invested projects currently under development, same below.
** Carbon reduction and average vehicle emissions are calculated based on assumptions from the U.S. EPA; Luxembourg-related data are calculated based on Luxembourg’s per capita car ownership in 2019 and the latest population data.
