Previously the PV projects were owned by SINO-CEE Fund, which led their construction in face of disadvantages during Covid-19 pandemic, effectively promoted exports of equipment, production capacity and engineering contract services from China to Europe, and successfully accomplished all the projects with full operation within 2022. Those were the first greenfield PV projects dominated by a Chinese fund in CEE, in line with “Belt and Road” cooperation framework, implementing the "30-60" dual carbon goals announced by President Xi Jinping, in compliance with ESG philosophy of sustainable development for humanity, and have received widespread praise from all parties as an important investment achievement for the 10th anniversary of cooperation mechanism between China and CEE countries. As members of China-Europe Business Council (CEBC), SINO-CEEF and CNOS will further strengthen investment cooperation in renewable energy sector based upon successful experience in Poland and platform support from CEBC, and create a new model for cooperation between Chinese and European enterprises under the inspiration of green finance. SINO-CEE Fund will continue to uphold our original aspirations, integrate advantages from Chinese, CEE and global sources through a market-oriented, internationalized, and commercialized fund operating model, drive more Chinese enterprises to “Go Global” and “Bring In” advanced technologies from abroad by financial innovation and cooperation, so as to promote investment, economic and trade cooperation between China and CEE, enhance China’s high-level opening to the outside world, and achieve mutually beneficial cooperation in every project.
