Mr Chen Fei and Mr Qin Jing, as Vice Chairman & CEO and CIO of SINO-CEEF respectively, made a trip on 15 and 16 May 2023 to Ningbo in Zhejiang Province to participate in the conference of China-CEE Joint Chamber of Commerce, and in the 3rd China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair, where they discussed investment and financial cooperation in CEE region with other participants to the activities as well as ICBC Ningbo Branch.
In the afternoon of 15 May, at the 7th Seminar of China-CEE Joint Chamber of Commerce, Mr Chen Fei made a speech to present SINO-CEEF and the development trend of renewable energy industry. He highlighted the history and future investment focus of the Fund, shared the huge opportunities and potential challenges in renewable energy market in CEE region, and discussed from the perspective of the Fund about how to participate in the current market to achieve win-win cooperation between the two sides.
In the morning of 16 May, the SINO-CEEF delegation met with ICBC Ningbo branch. During the meeting, Mr Qin Jing as the CIO made a detailed presentation on the future strategic approach and vision for the Fund, and Mr Chen Fei as the CEO indicated that there were a bunch of potential opportunities for cooperation between SINO-CEEF and ICBC Ningbo Branch. The Ningbo Branch remarked that as Ningbo City intended to build a “City of Renewable Energy”, the Branch expected to have more cooperation opportunities with SINO-CEEF in such business.
